Transforming a Legacy Beer Brand into a Modern Web Experience with Cross-Platform Integrations

The Rainier Beer website redesign was all about capturing the brand’s outdoorsy spirit, regional roots, and quirky personality in a modern, user-friendly experience. Tasked with leading the UI/UX design, I helped translate Rainier’s rich heritage into a digital environment that both honored its legacy and connected with a new generation of beer drinkers. The design took cues from the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest—bold typography, vintage-inspired graphics, and clean layouts gave the site an authentic and approachable feel.

Key features included a custom beer finder tool to help users locate Rainier nearby, seamless Drizly integration for direct-to-consumer purchasing, a Shopify-powered merch store, and a live Instagram feed to keep the brand vibe playful and fresh. Every section was thoughtfully crafted to drive engagement, encourage exploration, and reflect the fun, free-spirited nature of the Rainier brand.
