
Brews, Bucks, and Branding
In a full-circle moment from my arcade-playing days, I helped bring Big Buck Hunter to life on mobile through a unique collaboration with Busch Beer. The project centered around an augmented reality (AR) game, launched directly from Busch product packaging. I was tasked with creating a unified brand identity that merged both brands’ aesthetics, designing multiple logo concepts before landing on the final mark. From there, I built out the full user interface and wireframes, ensuring the look and feel captured the nostalgia of Buck Hunter while aligning with Busch’s bold personality.
Working closely with developers and 3D artists, I crafted a clean, intuitive visual experience that brought the hunt to the palm of your hand. The result was a fun, seamless AR game that stayed true to both brands and delighted fans—earning praise from both clients and drawing over 52,000 players at launch. It remains one of my favorite projects for its creative freedom, collaboration, and nostalgic payoff.
